Tasks and Duties:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, etc., to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Fill customers reports and communicate with managers.

Knowledge:

• Ability to read wiring diagrams, including synchropanels.
• Ability to apply switchboard designs, including synchropanels.
• Ability to design switchboards is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Repair and rebuild defective mechanical parts in electric motors, generators (mainly with MTU/Detroit Diesel and John Deere engines), and related equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect and test equipment in order to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions.
• Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
• Fill customer report and communicate with managers.

• Identify current and future customer service requirements.
• Provide product, service, or equipment technical and commercial support to clients.
• Consult with engineers, architects, and other professionals.
• Submit offers by conferring with technical support staff.
• Follow up the offers with the clients.
• Develop customer's staff by providing technical information and training.

Knowledge needed for the position:
